APHY researcher Vincent Ginis wins Boston Consulting Group Best Paper Award

Vincent Ginis, doctoral researcher at the Applied Physics Research Group, received the award during the Boston Consulting Group PhD event on March 27th, 2014.  The prize amounts to €5000 and was awarded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FRS-FNRS). 

Through this initiative, the Boston Consulting Group wants to reward the first author of the best paper published in the year 2013 in an international and peer reviewed scientific journal. The call for the award was open for a wide range of scientific disciplines, including economics, business economics and management, science and technology, biological sciences, and medical sciences. 

The jury of experts, appointed by the FRS-FNRS / FWO, elected Vincent's work based on its academic excellence, its innovativeness, its potential impact and its relevance.
